What we use today
This site uses Plausible, a privacy-first analytics tool, to see how many people visit and which pages they read — in aggregate, never as individuals. Plausible doesn't use cookies, doesn't collect personal data, and can't track you across other websites. Language (English, French or Arabic) is chosen by the URL you're on, not stored in a cookie either.
The one place cookies genuinely are used is our staff CMS, a separate, sign-in-only tool at a different address — Firebase Authentication sets a session cookie there so a signed-in staff member stays signed in. That has nothing to do with visitors to this site.
Why we still show a notice
Plausible's cookie-free design means the law doesn't require asking your permission before it runs — but we'd rather tell you it's there than rely on that technicality. The small notice on your first visit is exactly that: a heads-up, not a gate.
