What we collect when you use this site, and what we do with it.
Draft — 25 August 2026. Not yet reviewed by a lawyer; treat this as a description of practice, not a final legal document.

What we collect

If you send us a brief through the contact form, we store your name, email address, organisation, the kind of work you need, languages, deadline and the brief itself.

If you subscribe to The Bridge, our newsletter, we store your email address and nothing else — the signup form doesn't ask for a name.

We don't use tracking cookies, analytics scripts or advertising pixels on this site today. If that changes, this page will say so before it happens, not after.

Where it's stored

Everything above is stored in Google Cloud Firestore, in a database region located in the European Union. We chose that region for latency to our own base in Tunis and to keep content in the EU by default.

Only StoryBridge staff can read what you send us — a contact-form submission or a newsletter address is never public, and we don't sell or share it with anyone.

How we use it

A contact-form brief is used to reply to you about the work you're asking for. A newsletter subscription is used, once we start sending The Bridge, to send you that newsletter and nothing else — no other list, no resale.

We don't currently have an automated way to send you anything — that's genuinely still being built. Until it exists, subscribing saves your address; it doesn't put anything in your inbox.

How long we keep it

We haven't yet set a formal retention schedule. If you'd like something you sent us deleted, email hello@storybridge.tn and we'll remove it.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time, by emailing hello@storybridge.tn. We aim to handle these in the spirit of the EU's GDPR, though we haven't formally certified compliance with it.
